A Familiar Silhouette at the End of the Driveway

Written by Nicholas A. Webb

A few years back, right after my grandfather (known as Paboy) passed away I was looking on Google maps to show a friend how to get to our family's farm and I pulled up a Street View image so that I could show them the entry way. To my surprise, as I looked at the image I saw that Paboy was in the image!  A chill shot down my spine as I rushed to call my father and tell him to go to the site to see. Needless to say this was a pleasant and welcome surprise to my day!  Apparently, one day when he was walking down the long cedar lined driveway to check the mail the Google Earth vehicle was making its way down the highway....and right as he reached the end of the driveway, that Google vehicle took a photo of my grandfather.  Of course you can't see his face, but that cane, that hat and that famous plaid shirt are unmistakeable.  Take a look.
